Almost done.

If our album was a steak, it would be about 20 seconds away from coming off the grill.

No joke.

Update from the studio.

I may be over posting, but it's ok, because we are so close to finishing this record that it I am getting giddy. Like, Megan Fox is in my bedroom level excited (in a different way, but excitement nonetheless).

So far:

Drums
Guitar
Bass
Saxes
and Trombone

are done.

Just trumpet, vocals, and oozin' ahhz' and this record will be completed (hopefully ahead of schedule, if the recording gods are smiling down on us).

So sit tight. By the end of the week, We will probably have another song on MySpace, but for now, you can psych yourself up with our demo version of Change (which will be on the album, in all it's glory).

Fishing for Bass.

Sometime next week, we will finish bass.

Then we will finish horns.

If it kills us, then so be it.

If you're following, we would like you to know that horns are done (minus trumpet because Nomi is in Nawlins' right now). We're going to do some overdubs and stuff and then do bass sometime this week.

The release date for our CD has changed to August 8th. This is the last time we will change it. The CD WILL BE DONE by this date.

Silent Thunder

Well, our Green Lake experience was fairly fruitful.

We came out of it with two new songs, one new cover and tons of ideas. We also realized a lot about ourselves and the way we write. Our new songs are a bit darker, more enveloping, but still great.

We have been experimenting with different layering techniques and feel like we have a couple solid mixes to demo.

Speaking of demoing and junk, Horns and the such will be done within the week, which leaves some bass and vocals. After that, we are going to make some pressings of our CD and if it's good, we will start duplicating. Cool, huh?

We'll keep you posted. Expect great things.

It's that time again.

Given that we are Men, and it is America Day tomorrow, we have decided to do what comes naturally.

Here's what happened.

It's about the size of a 2 liter bottle of soda. We're going to light it on the 8th.

The next couple weeks.

Hello there in non-NMM land.

This week we are going to go to lay low a bit. Just kind of chillaxin'. We just came off a tough couple of weeks, and most of us have jobs. Which you can visit us at by the way.

Anyways, apart from doing a bit of tracking this week, we are not doing much besides just hanging out, but there is a surprise.

July 7th-9th, we are going to be going to Green Lake for a bit of writing and, well, let's face it, we're going to kill and eat as many animals as possible.

So expect songs written about bacon, cheese, Mountain Dew, Megan Fox, bacon, steak, swimming, killing each other, and bacon.

We will keep you guys posted with updates, and will release some videos of us in the studio.

Speaking of the studio, expect a July 20th or so release for our CD. We'll be back with a track listing in a couple of days.
